Hello! Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Nathan R. Johnson, and I’m musician who composes new “classical” music. My music is influenced by a large range of styles, from Baroque to Swedish fiddling to post-minimalism to bluegrass, although, for me, nothing is quite as inspirational as simply being outside the Pacific Northwest. (I live a boat ride away from Seattle, between the Olympic Mountains and the Salish Sea.) Whether it’s out in the woods, up in the mountains, or on the water, nature is where I hear music the most.
